<p><strong>COLUMBIA —</strong> Columbia State Community College recognized 41 new emergency medical technicians and advanced emergency medical technicians at a pinning ceremony in the Cherry Theater, according to the college. The group included 13 EMTs and 28 AEMTs who completed their training during the Fall 2025 semester.</p><p>The fall 2025 EMT cohort achieved a 100 percent first-attempt pass rate on the national registry exam, demonstrating rigorous preparation. "The fall 2025 cohort earned every bit of this milestone," said Greg Johnson, EMS Academy program director. "They've trained hard, stayed focused and shown they're ready to serve." These graduates join the region's first responder network, providing critical care in medical emergencies and transporting patients to hospitals across Maury County and beyond.</p>
