<p>COLUMBIA — Columbia State Community College announced that 139 students earned placement on the President's List and 664 students earned placement on the Dean's List for the Fall 2025 semester, according to the college. Combined, more than 800 students were recognized for academic excellence during the term.</p><p>To qualify for the President's List, students must complete 15 credit hours with a GPA between 3.90 and 4.00. The Dean's List requires 12 or more credit hours with a GPA of 3.50 or higher. Dr. Janet F. Smith, Columbia State's president, said students who reach this level of achievement deserve to be celebrated, particularly because many are managing jobs, families, and other obligations alongside their studies.</p>
