<p>COLUMBIA — Columbia State Community College celebrated 478 graduates during Fall 2025 commencement ceremonies on December 13th, with 162 degree and certificate candidates crossing the stage at the Webster Athletic Center, according to the college.</p><p>Robert Rogers, dealer principal of Parks Motor Sales and a Columbia State alumnus, delivered the commencement address to the graduating class. Rogers, a Columbia native who attended Columbia State before transferring to Middle Tennessee State University, has served the community for decades through his work at the family dealership and volunteer service including the Columbia State Foundation Board, the Maury Alliance, and the Boy Scouts of America, where he earned Eagle Scout rank.</p><p>College President Dr. Janet F. Smith emphasized that graduates "set a goal and accomplished it," celebrating their achievement during a time when many balance multiple obligations alongside their studies.</p>
