<p><strong>COLUMBIA —</strong> Columbia State Community College held Fall 2025 commencement on December 13, with 162 degree and certificate candidates crossing the stage at the Webster Athletic Center. The college anticipates 478 total graduates for the Fall 2025 semester.</p><p>Dr. Janet F. Smith, Columbia State president, opened the ceremony emphasizing that "Today is a special day for several reasons. First and foremost, it is a day of celebration of accomplishments. It is a day of recognition that these soon to be graduates set a goal and accomplished it." Guest speaker Robert Rogers, a Columbia native and dealer principal for Parks Motor Sales, challenged graduates as they entered the workforce. Rogers attended Columbia State before transferring to Middle Tennessee State University, where he graduated cum laude in 2003 with a degree in business administration and marketing. He serves on the Columbia State Foundation Board and the Maury Alliance board of directors.</p>
