<p><strong>COLUMBIA —</strong> Columbia State Community College recently recognized 41 new emergency medical services graduates in a fall 2025 pinning ceremony held in the Cherry Theater, according to the college. The cohort included 13 newly certified emergency medical technicians and 28 advanced emergency medical technicians who have completed rigorous training and earned certification to serve their communities.</p><p>The EMT graduates achieved a perfect 100 percent first-attempt pass rate on the national registry examination. Advanced EMT students in the accelerated certificate program also achieved a 100 percent first-attempt pass rate. "The fall 2025 cohort earned every bit of this milestone," said Greg Johnson, Columbia State EMS Academy program director. "They've trained hard, stayed focused and shown they're ready to serve." These graduates will now provide critical pre-hospital emergency care to Maury County and beyond.</p>
