COLUMBIA — Three Columbia State Community College marketing students have created a comprehensive tourism concept for Fairview following their participation in the Tennessee Board of Regents Global Studies program in Iceland, according to Columbia State. The students—Gabby Curtis of Fairview, Xavier Viazcan of Lewisburg, and Montserrat Coronado of Spring Hill—developed a campaign called "Fairview on Two Wheels" designed to position the town as a destination for cycling, rail bikes, and outdoor recreation.

The project includes a fully developed website and strategic marketing plan that highlights local restaurants, small businesses, and community attractions. During their 10-week course, the students presented their work to students at the University of Iceland, gaining international feedback on their campaign. The initiative demonstrates how hands-on education can translate classroom learning into real economic opportunity for Maury County communities.
