Decorative banners displaying the 26 historical figures now line the downtown area, creating a visual tribute that connects residents and visitors to the city's past.</p><p>Mayor Chaz Molder emphasized the importance of recognizing these figures as part of the broader effort to honor Columbia's heritage and the people who built it.</p>
